Self care is a lot easier when you can go to a professional, right? However, if your hair and skin is looking a little lackluster here’s a few of my favorite products and tricks to boost your skin and hair.
Product recommendations for those SAFE at HOME

- Batiste Dry Shampoo Hint of Color: Touch up your dark or gray roots with blonde, brown or dark brown hued dry shampoo. Removes oil, adds volume and is also fantastic for covering exposed scalp wherever there may be hair loss.
- Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 8% AHA Gel Exfoliant: Gently exfoliate your skin with non-abrasive AHA and glycolic acid. Use nightly to reduce poor size, even skin tone and remove clogged pores.
- Trader Joes [in store]: Lemongrass and Coconut Body Oil, and Enrich Face Lotion SPF 15
- Rose Bud Lip Salve: Use it on your lips, dry skin, cuticles. The rose scented salve is soothing and uber emollient.
- Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock: Use on exposed skin when you’re outside for more than 5 minutes. Easily spray over area and enjoy a subtle sheen. Scott Barnes uses this as a setting spray all over J. Lo for her glow!
Makeup Organization
It’s as good a time as any to get your makeup and beauty products organized, cleaned and sorted out.
- Amazon Acrylic Shelves (Set of 4): Easily mount onto wall and organize your beauty products within reach.
- Repurpose glass vases, mason jars and whimsical mugs to store your brushes and pencils
